10 minutes, 5 rounds of each move. Lower the reps if you need more rest.
A free online EMOM timer: a new round starts every minute, on the minute. Do your reps, rest for what is left, and the beep tells you when to go again. Works on any phone or computer.
The format
EMOM stands for “every minute on the minute”. At the start of each minute you do a set number of reps of an exercise. Whatever time is left in that minute is your rest. When the next minute starts, you go again.
The faster you finish your reps, the more rest you get, so EMOM rewards steady, efficient work. If you can barely finish before the next minute starts, the reps are too high; if you have more than 30 seconds of rest, you can add a few.
EMOM is popular in CrossFit and functional training, but it works for any bodyweight routine. A common variation is every 2 minutes (E2MOM) for longer sets or two exercises in a row.
